I grew up in a Christian family where religion had an important place, and I remember how my father often told me stories from the Bible, such as those of Joseph, Moses, Elijah, and Daniel. But I stopped attending our church because I disagreed with the teaching that conveyed a God who punishes His children and is angry, vindictive, and unjust.
