Symptoms of pulmonary infection healed
I grew up in a Christian family where religion had an important place, and I remember how my father often told me stories from the Bible, such as those of Joseph, Moses, Elijah, and Daniel. But I stopped attending our church because I disagreed with the teaching that conveyed a God who punishes His children and is angry, vindictive, and unjust. Later, I started attending other churches in search of a true God.
One day while walking in the neighborhood, about three years ago, I picked up a brochure that my neighbor had put out. It was The Herald of Christian Science. Reading this magazine, I was both amazed and surprised to discover a God who was not as I had been taught before. Here was a God who is Love, and I was His pure and perfect child. I was not this poor sinner who desperately sought salvation, but the beloved daughter of God.
I knew I had found what I was looking for, so I went to see the Christian Science branch church that was in the neighborhood. I started attending services and finally became a member. I thank Mary Baker Eddy for having made such revolutionary ideas that heal available to every true seeker of Truth.
