No more castles built on sand

I was raised in a Catholic household in Peru, and from a young age I asked myself how God could be so far away and so complicated. As time moved on, I found no answer to my questions.

In searching for the truth, I read from different disciplines, like philosophy, theology, etc., until I got to the point of thinking that everything written on the Bible was outdated, impractical, abstract, and even invented.

I always wondered, though, what there was in early Christianity that attracted so many people to it, and why they even died happily for their faith. I was sure that some teaching by Christ Jesus had gotten lost over time.
