Eye twitch healed

One day last fall, I woke up with an uneasy feeling that something was not normal with my face. I went into the bathroom and saw in the mirror that there was a muscle pulsing and twitching directly underneath my right eye. It was very uncomfortable and quite noticeable.

The temptation to become alarmed seemed overwhelming, but as a lifelong Christian Scientist, I knew that this apparent disturbance was not the truth about me, but an illusion, and that I could rely on God for healing. Christian Science teaches and proves that man is entirely spiritual, created in the image and likeness of perfect God, and therefore not subject to imperfection of any kind.

As I began to get ready for my day, however, I found myself constantly checking my reflection in the mirror to see if the condition had improved. I operate a small private day care in my home, and was concerned that the children or their parents would become frightened by my appearance. I was happy that none of the parents seemed to notice anything, and the little ones expressed only mild curiosity.
