Arm injury and immobility healed
First published in O Arauto da Ciência Cristã, the Portuguese edition of The Herald of Christian Science.
The word unbreakable is perfect to describe the experience I had in November 2009 while helping my sister-in-law maneuver the car so she could exit a public parking garage without hitting a column.
The garage was dark, and because she did not realize where I was standing, she made a quick move and ended up squeezing my right arm against a pillar with the car. The pain and discomfort were so great that I felt I was going to faint, but I managed to stay in control and remain conscious.
My first impression when I looked at the arm was that it was broken, but immediately, as an intuition, the idea came to me that I could not have broken it because, after all, I was the spiritual reflection of God, who is the only Truth. And Truth does not break, crack, suffer dislocation, nor can it be twisted. Truth is always spiritual, cohesive, and solid.
