I had been searching for God for a long time, but I didn't know how to find Him. So I prayed that God would show me the way.

When I bought the book Science and Health and began to study it, I was awestruck because I realized this was the path I had been seeking. There I learned that God is always with me and with everyone, that He is all love and goodness. I understood that I needed to pause and be quiet in order to hear God, because He is constantly speaking to us. Now when I pray, I feel a great sense of peace and happiness.

As a consequence of this new understanding, I have had many clear proofs of God's care. About four years ago, I was diagnosed by the doctors with diabetes, in addition to suffering from hypertension and asthma. Later, they also determined that I suffered from angina. I was told that, because of my age and all the problems they had diagnosed, I had to undergo cardiac catheterization because it was almost certain that they'd have to repair a valve in my heart. For the sake of my family's peace of mind I agreed to go ahead with the catheterization.>
