I'm in seventh grade, and in the past two years we've had lots of problems with bullying at school. I was happy to know about Christian Science because that helped me to heal things and to find solutions for myself and for all of us.

Many kids in my class were afraid of being bullied, and our teachers at first ignored these problems. Our parent council wasn't really helpful during that time either, because they didn't see the problems. They seemed to be partial and only got involved in areas that benefited their own kids and their friends—and those were not the kids who were bullied.

One time I was really down because I'd been roughed up by some bullies in my class. But then I thought I wanted to help the kids who were acting so rough. I kind of felt sorry for them. And I saw that I could love them because God was there. That gave me strength. I lost my fear and saw ways to prove that good was powerful. It showed me that we are not helpless.
