'I BEGAN TO DISCIPLINE MY THOUGHT'
Several years ago a growth appeared on my wrist. Since it caused no discomfort, for several weeks I thought little of it. Soon though, family members began to notice it, and I knew that it needed attention.
Since being introduced to Christian Science by a co-worker several years earlier, I'd relied on its practice for all my healthcare needs. It was natural to assume that God would also heal me in this situation.
I prayed halfheartedly for some time, but when my wrist began to be painful, I called an experienced Christian Science practitioner for help. The practitioner agreed to pray for me, and he assured me of God's care and my worthiness of healing.
