DIZZY SPELLS HEALED

Several years ago I went through a period in which I suffered from severe dizzy spells over the course of three years. These spells came on sporadically, without warning, and made me very fearful to do normal activities like grocery shopping or going out in public. Thankfully, these spells never happened in front of anyone else.

I've seen how prayer in Christian Science results in healing, so I again chose to rely on this method to address the dizzy spells. I prayed to understand my real identity and nature as a child of God and delved into the definition of man on page 475 of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health. I studied many of the psalms in the Bible, which at times brought me great comfort. I also occasionally asked a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me and help me better understand my relationship to God.

There were many times I felt discouraged and fearful, since the dizzy spells had been going on for such a long stretch of time. Part of that discouragement came from the fact that these spells would often wake me and disrupt my sleep.
