Our puppet show—a whale tale!
A Christian Science Sunday School class in Towson, Maryland, did a puppet show of the story of Jonah and the whale. Jeremy, 10, played the role of Jonah; Will, 7, the role of God and the sailors; and Clay, 6, the role of the big whale. The students invited everyone in their church to come and see their show. They had so much fun that they wanted to share with you some of the things they did and learned.
Jeremy: The puppet show took a long time to make. We had to make all the props. We had an interesting time trying to figure out how to keep everyone's head from showing. Everyone really had to work together.
Clay: And we had to practice!
