I was healed of a stomachache

One night when I was about to go to bed, I had a bad stomachache. So I went to my mother and asked her what to do.

I attend the Christian Science Sunday School, where I learn about how great God is and that He does good things for us and all the people in the world. I know from the Bible that I am made in the image and likeness of God, and that nothing can harm His likeness. I love God because He has created everything perfect, good, and complete. God made His universe with love.

I knew I could be healed by praying and understanding God. My mom suggested opening my Science and Health to any page and praying with what I found. She was praying for me, too. I went to my room and opened to page 325. I read the first paragraph. It says there that "Jesus gave the true idea of being, which results in infinite blessings to mortals." I thought about my true being as God's image and likeness, and I felt a little better. I continued reading through that page.
