The Kids' Sentinel talked with Mike Laggart, who worked as a Los Angeles Police officer for 25 years. Here, Mr. Laggart, who is now retired from the police force, answers questions kids had for him.
Did you always want to be a police officer?
That's a great question, because some people choose a career very early in their lives. I'd had an interest in law and law enforcement for a long time. But once I was out of college, I needed to pray about what I was going to do. God had always supplied me with what I needed, and I often prayed:
