A LETTER FROM ALEXANDER IN ITALY
Ever since I was very little I have enjoyed sitting down and drawing on a nice white piece of paper and even scribbling all over my bedroom wall (which my parents allowed me to do!). And now I still like drawing and painting. I like to draw dinosaurs most of all. My other hobbies are watching movies, collecting marbles and stamps, and listening to music like Glenn Miller. I also like to play music, and I tend to learn new tunes very quickly.
I have a brother, Lawrence. His nickname is B.B. He is very cheeky and likes playing games like hide and seek. We play board games and basketball together, and we love Star Wars Legos.
Sometimes I fight with my brother. But I always want us to make peace afterward. I like the Bible story of the Apostle Paul (see Acts, chapter 9). He used to be called Saul and later became Paul. He persecuted the Christians. But while he was traveling along a road, a flash of light blinded him. And then he realized it was Jesus telling him not to persecute Christians anymore, but to become a Christian and spread the word of God around the world. The story shows how you can change very quickly because God has a very powerful and good influence on you. And in the same way I'd like to be a good brother and not fight.
