READY TO SHARE GOD'S LOVING CARE

FROM THE TIME I WAS A YOUNG CHILD, I loved God. I attended a Christian Science Sunday School, where I learned to turn to divine Love with any issue confronting me. When friends had troubles, I would explain what I was learning about God's loving care for each of His/Her children. I remember giving Science and Health to friends all through my school years. I was convinced that Christian Science was the only way of life I ever wanted to follow.

These opportunities to share and help others with prayer carried over into my careers as an elementary school teacher, as owner and manager of an aerobic dance business, and also as a worker for 25 years in the restaurant business with my husband.

I always knew one day I would become a Christian Science practitioner. I really can't explain why, but I just knew at some point that this was what I needed to be doing. For many years, though, I didn't think I was ready.
