OUR DAUGHTER'S QUICK HEALING

My husband and I have three children— a boy and two girls. A recent experience with our girls gave us a deeper appreciation and understanding of God as truly ever-present Love.

When our younger daughter, Liberty, was five, she woke up one night crying and in great pain. She couldn't be consoled, and I knew this wasn't at all normal. Our family had already had many physical healings brought about by prayer alone in Christian Science. So, it was very natural for me to start praying and to trust prayer with complete confidence that she would be healed quickly.

I told Liberty that she was God's child and that the Lord's Prayer begins with "Our Father." I told her, too, that God didn't make sickness or pain, and that He loved her so much He wouldn't let her stay unhappy—that she would be fine very soon. As I hugged and kissed her, I assured her that I was praying for her.
