HEALED OF CHRONIC EYE INFLAMMATION
Several years ago I started having occasional trouble with one of my eyes. It would become red and sensitive to light. My less-than-helpful thoughts about this were usually ones like, "You've spent too much time in front of the computer." So I would stop working, and soon, things would be back to normal.
In retrospect, I realize that because these occasional occurrences usually went away pretty quickly, I really didn't give the situation focused prayer in Christian Science, as I usually would have.
In April 2006, however, my eye again became irritated, but this time it didn't clear up. I called a Christian Science practitioner for help, and within two days the condition had gone. We prayed together with ideas from several hymns, including this wonderful verse:
