DAILY PRAYER: MORE THAN A SURVEY CAN EXPLAIN
A MERE 18 PERCENT of Americans say that they pray "rarely" or "never," according to a survey conducted last year by the independent research organization Rasmussen Reports. This squares with an earlier Christian Science Monitor/TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence poll, which showed that while less than half of Americans regularly attend religious services, some 60 percent say they pray once or more a day; also, that a vast majority of Americans say they expect prayer to have a positive impact on their individual lives and on national and world events.
PRAYER IS GRATEFUL ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ALL THE GOOD GOD HAS ALREADY DONE, CONTINUES TO DO, AND CONTINUES TO BE.
