A spiritual demand for balance
No matter where you live in the world, you possibly spend some time each week trying to figure out how to manage your money—or your livestock, cornfields, or home industries—wisely in an uncertain economy.
There's a story Henry Bosch tells in the April 2006 issue of the devotional booklet Our Daily Bread, about a small boy whose father gives him 50 cents to spend as he likes. When the dad later asks him about the money, the boy says he's lent it to someone.
The dad goes further: "Whom did you lend it to?"
