a STRONG foundation

I began to pray by acknowledging God as the builder of all that is real and eternal, and Christ as the foundation of all that God creates.

During heavy rains, a foundation wall in our basement was under pressure due to water runoff from neighboring yards. This is not an uncommon situation in our hilly part of Tennessee, we were told. It got to the point where the wall was bowed, and we were concerned that the integrity of our house was in danger. We talked with several people to determine the best way to remedy the situation, and the differing opinions about how to proceed left me feeling confused. It looked as though the problem was unsolvable.
