HEALED OF SEVERE HEADACHES AND SADNESS

My dad left home when I was 19. My mom and I sank into deep sadness, and for almost ten years I suffered from severe headaches. These forced me to drop out of college.

For years, I submitted to all types of medical treatments, without any improvement, in spite of the large quantity of medications that were prescribed to me. Then my mother-in-law suggested I consult a Christian Science practitioner. And I did.

A practitioner is a person who devotes his or her full time to helping others through prayer. The woman I consulted was very loving to me and suggested I study some passages from the Bible and from Science and Health. One of the passages was from Psalm 23, which says, in part: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul."
