CHANGE OF FOCUS

THIS PAST DECEMBER, TIME magazine ran a special 48-page feature titled "The Best Photographs of the Year." While eight of the pictures carried messages of hope, 40 of them showed scenes of devastation, death, deprivation, and other aspects of human tragedy and suffering.

MOST OF US PROBABLY SEE AT LEAST ONE EXAMPLE OF GOD'S LOVE IN ACTION EVERY DAY, EVEN IF WE DON'T IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZE OR ACKNOWLEDGE IT.
