Bright promise

Meghan, Elias, Sophie, Julia, Emma, Jacob

A song of comfort inspired by the 23rd Psalm

When I'm feeling lonely,
Lost and confused,
My heart is heavy.
I'm singing the blues.

So, I look to God
For comfort and love
And the kind of peace
That comes from above.

God loves me and guides me
And lifts me up high.
I feel like I'm soaring
Through the heavenly sky.

This song was written, sung, and rapped by "The Comforters"—Meghan, Elias, Sophie, Julia, Emma, and Jacob—a group of kids at the Sunday School of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
