LETTERS

What a marvelous array of practical, spiritual ideas come into our hands every week with each new Sentinel. Regardless of the focus of the issue, each is filled with fresh insights.

From the November 6 issue ["The Commandments—10 life-guides"], a simple idea has lent itself to me for wonderful new ways to pray. Seeking relief over concern about her son, Ginny Luedeman said in her article, " 'Perfect' makes practice fun," that she heard God's message, "Josh is My son, and I'm in complete control of him."

I found great reassurance replacing that name with that of any and all for whom I'm praying. It's been wonderfully comforting and empowering to see family members, community members, even world leaders, in that position—as God's precious children, completely controlled by Him.
