A CHRISTMAS HEALING
It was Christmastime. I was getting ready to visit my three young daughters in another town. I had recently gone through a divorce, and the children were living with their father to finish out the school year. I had never been separated from them and was anxiously looking forward to our time together. I missed them so much.
The cottage where I was living was quite a distance from my work, and two days before Christmas I went to my real estate office to take care of a few things before I was to leave on my trip. While driving in to park, my car made a very loud noise and stopped. A kind man from the service station next door came over to check it out. He said it would take over $1,500 to fix and I would have to have the car towed away.
As a student of Christian Science, I knew God was ever present, and right away I prayed to know that He would take care of my every need. I called several car dealers to see if they would take my car in on a trade. But because it was in need of a major repair, nobody wanted it.
