LIFT OFF AND RISE ABOVE TURMOIL

And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? IT ALL STARTED with a simple elevator ride. It was a turbulent time for me. Multiple personal problems weighed on my mind, from financial instability and confusion about direction in my life to loneliness over the recent loss of my husband. World news hadn't gotten any better, either. Add to that a cold, drizzly Monday morning and a particularly hectic rush hour on my way to my downtown office—I wasn't sure how I'd get through the day.
