PERSISTENT PRAYER BRINGS HEALING
Sometimes I've known precisely one thought that has led to a healing through prayer, but at other times, the determination to stick "steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true," as Mary Baker Eddy wrote in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures (p. 261), has brought me a myriad of divine thoughts, or angel messages. This was the case in a healing that took a lot of steadfastness.
The circulation in one of my legs had apparently become impeded. Swelling prevented me from wearing a normal shoe, and standing was painful. Since effective healing through prayer in Christian Science had been my bulwark for many years, I didn't consider any other treatment.
