E=mc2 but ...

Is there a spiritual counter equation to Einstein's thunderbolt realization 100 years ago that E=mc2?

That's what I mused about recently on the midnight train to Boston. I'd just wrapped up an article on time, space, and matter for The Christian Science Journal's July issue, in honor of the international celebration of The World Year of Physics 2005, or Year of Einstein as it's known in some countries. And two lines in the Christian Science Quarterly Weekly Bible Lesson jumped out at me. One talked about filling thought "... with the divine energies of Truth." Here's the other: "Christian Science silences human will, quiets fear with Truth and Love, and illustrates the unlabored motion of the divine energy in healing the sick" (Science and Health, pp. 186 and 445).

I wrote this in the margin: H=den! (Healing = divine energy, now!) It isn't a formula. It's simply a symbolic assertion of a life-principle, my own nutshell-expression of the idea that the magnitude of apparent material energy may be enormous, but divine energy is infinite. And it heals, as I know firsthand. God's (i.e., Life's/Love's/Soul's) divine thought-energies are closer than gravity, and more scientific. They possess unlimited capacity to spiritualize human consciousness and thereby redeem, correct, and heal every bad condition—immediately, without delay.
