LETTERS

Last year a friend from the Terre Haute Christian Science church helped us understand Christian Science teachings at Unity Presbyterian Church, where I attend. Her presentation was clear, thoughtful, and thought provoking, and it was well received by our congregation. After she had read your December 13, 2004, article by Meg Dendler about a Presbyterian minister's efforts for peace in Ireland, she sent me the issue, and I read it with great interest.

It is interchanges like this that will help all of us realize that we are all children of God, and the petty "sibling" squabbling about surface issues is just that. Thank you for sharing that with your readers, and thank God for minds and hearts open to our shared kinship.
