Thanks for the October 24 Sentinel, "What is a Christian Science nurse?"
As a graduate nurse from the Christian Science Benevolent Association, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, class of 1946, I was looking forward to serving "in the Field," and was listed in The Christian Science Journal. Little did I realize that many people that I was called to nurse were not familiar with what the duties of a Christian Science nurse were, and there was much to explain.
I have been a student of Christian Science all my life and learned many valuable lessons in the instructions for Christian Science nurses. The greatest joy was to bear witness to God's healing of those who studied Christian Science. His healing presence found many beautiful demonstrations.
