CHRONIC CONDITION HEALED

Several months ago, I was stricken with a fever and headaches that kept me from doing my daily activities. This happened as I went back to work from vacation. I was all by myself in the department, and there was a huge amount of work to do.

Before I knew of Christian Science, whenever these headaches would come I would be unable to function and go to work, and I would undergo medical treatment. I'd had this problem during my school years and at college, and I always carried medicines in my pencil case. But when my husband and I found Christian Science, we began to rely on prayer for healing.

Confronted with this situation again, I prayed, and my husband also prayed for me. In my prayers, I knew that God was my support and that He would help me. Because I am His child, His spiritual idea, nothing could keep me from expressing His qualities such as love, harmony, peace, health, activity, and so on. Understanding this, I was able to perform my duties at work.
