"THE HEYENDAAL OPEN CIRCLE on Science and Religion, a Local Societies Initiative group, works to promote the science-and-religion dialogue in the Netherlands.

"Members of the Heyendaal Institute Nijmegen—which encourages interdisciplinary research on the relationship among theology and the humanities, social sciences, medical sciences, and natural science at Radboud University, Nijmegen—founded the group in 2003.
