I have been reading the Sentinel from childhood and have much appreciated it message to humanity. The progressive developments both in its formats and approach over the last few years have been most inspiring.
I enjoyed the November 22 issue on "World of Thanksgiving" and consider this most important subject to have been well presented. However, I was disappointed that the writer from Canada failed to mention that our country celebrates a national Thanksgiving Day holiday on the second Monday of October. On that day Churches of Christ, Scientist, in Canada hold the same Thanksgiving service as that of Christian Science churches in the United States in November. Many other denominations also celebrate this day in their own individual ways.
I feel that Sentinel readers around the world would appreciate being made aware of Canada's recognition of the importance of Thanksgiving to our nation.
