New Appointment
WITH DEEP LOVE AND GRATITUDE for an example of outstanding service to this Cause, The Christian Science Board of Directors announced December 6 that, as of December 4, 2004, Virginia Harris, C.S.B., retired from the Board and from her responsibilities at The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity.
Commenting on her departure, Mrs. Harris said, "The joy and privilege of serving as a member of The Christian Science Board of Directors will always remain a treasured part of my life. I leave with immense gratitude for the many accomplishments over the past decade of my Board colleagues, our employees, and Church members. I am honored to have played a part in all of that as we move into the next century of Christian Science." She looks forward to spending more time with her family, and her practice and teaching of Christian Science.
Prior to joining the Board in December 1990, Ginny served as Clerk of The Mother Church, Manager of Branch Church Activities, and Superintendent of The Mother Church Sunday School. Earlier, she had been a member of the Board of Lectureship.
