An immediate healing

Several years ago, I was standing next to large gas oven. As I turned around, I bashed one of my knees extremely hard against a thick metal object that was protruding from the gas pipe.

The pain was almost unbearable, and I found it difficult to walk. I sat down on a stool, berating myself for being so clumsy. Then I thought of news reports I'd seen of people having to have knee reconstructions because of injuries received while playing sports. Quickly, though, I realized that prayer offered a surer way to heal injuries. I remembered someone once pointing out to me that anytime I believed something about myself, it was like believing it about God. This reasoning is based on the conclusion that we are inseparable from God and, in fact, reflect God's nature at every moment.

I then thought that God obviously could not have bashed against anything because God is not material, but rather is Spirit. Also, God is completely good and could not be suffering from pain, and for that reason, neither could I. I realized very clearly that since God was the only power, there could not be any other power over me.
