Why didn't I know about this church?

I First heard about Christian Science in 2001. When people ask who introduced it to me, I say it was God, who is divine Love. Before this time, living in Nigeria, I had heard God spoken of by this name. He led me to search and to find Him.

That year, I was in despair and confusion about life. I was trying to serve God, to live a righteous life, and to please Him. My friends and relations knew me as a very religious person — some called me "Sister Chineze" because they thought I was "saintly." But with all my commitment to religion, things still were not going well—with jobs, finance, and especially relationships.
