The Bible speaks to us
Originally published in Le Héraut de la Christian Science
I was brought up in a family where the Bible was very important, and loving it came naturally to me. When I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School, the love the teachers had for the Scriptures strengthened my own love for the Bible even further.
After I began studying the Weekly Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly, I loved to copy verses from the Bible on pieces of paper that I carried in my pocket. I learned these verses by heart on my way to school. Throughout the years, these passages have always been very precious to me and have sometimes become my life buoys.
