A life and a garden in transition
My husband and I were best friends . We shared the same goals and vision. The community played an important part in our many happy years together. Then a few years ago, his sudden passing required of me more growth—spiritual growth—than I could have ever envisaged.
It wasn't that concern for him was a stumbling block for me. I never doubted that he was continuing to express all the joy, warmth, spiritual strength, and vision that I had loved about him. It was just that he wasn't visible to me while he was doing it. So I had to rejig the sails of my little boat and keep going forward to learn what God required of me in my new situation.
Because my husband and I had shared the same deep love and respect for Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and its author Mary Baker Eddy, I knew that I would retain the same focus and interest in the community in which I live. So I was ready for any new adventure God had to offer me.
