A giver 'delights in the giving'
"She's such a giver," a friend commented to me about the hostess of a party we were attending.
Our hostess was always doing things for other people. She was a mother of four, a loving wife, an active church member, a volunteer at her children's schools, a frequent entertainer of large groups, and a Christian Science practitioner. Generosity was written all over her radiant face, and was clearly the modus operandi of her life. Maybe you know a real giver like her.
Just imagine one who truly has an unending capacity to give—someone who not only has a magnanimous heart, but also infinite resources at hand. This one never runs out of time, energy, ideas, or income. Now consider that this one might be you.
