How your Christmas issue (December 22) touched me! I could scarcely read from blinking back the tears of tender joy at the beautiful sharings of the Christ dawning anew in the hearts of the contributors.
In praying for new insights before the holiday, I was pleased to find similar strains of thought in several pieces as I was reading them today. I, too, discovered fresh inspiration this year in seeing the Christmas story to be my story. I recognized my need to "magnify the Lord" and to be willing to bring forth the Christ, Truth, in my experience and nurture it, to make room for it in my house/consciousness, to follow the "guiding star of being" no matter how far away it seems to be, to rejoice fearlessly in the angelic proclamation of "peace on earth, good will to men," and to protect my little understanding of this Christ from destructive elements.
What a gift this publication has been to me over the years. It was the first subscription I purchased as a new bride over 40 years ago, and I have looked forward to each issue ever since. I will happily share this one, as I have so many others over the years.
