Allergies healed
From DISCORD to HARMONY—a spiritual healthcare model
Case one: A woman strives through prayer alone to overcome the hay fever that she's had since birth. She raises a family and serves actively in a church. Finally, after several decades of praying with ideas she's found in Mary Baker Eddy's book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, she is suddenly free from all the symptoms.
It's now been about eight years since her healing came, and she's never again experienced hay fever. What brought the healing, and why so suddenly? She says she realized that, as God's reflection, she was never cursed but only blessed. By the term reflection, she's referring to a statement in the Bible's account of creation explaining that God made man and woman "in his own image"—consequently, the spiritual reflection of one infinite Spirit (see Gen. 1:27).
Case two: A medical doctor has suffered from an allergic condition. He explores every medical remedy he knows—modern allopathic medicine, homeopathic treatments, and other modes. The doctor buys a copy of Science and Health and reads it for two hours, after which he discovers that the whole condition—all the symptoms that had almost incapacitated him 12 springs in a row—has suddenly vanished. Four years later, he hasn't suffered in the slightest from the old symptoms.
