Improved thinking brings favorable change
Originally published in El Heraldo de la Christian Science
Christmas has come and gone once more. But Christmas is a timeless celebration. It is the light appearing in the darkness, allowing us to see, know, and touch Truth. It fills us with calm, comfort, happiness, and peace; it's the place where you feel safe and satisfied.
I've had many healings through the power of Truth, but there's one in particular that stands out from the rest. I faced a problem that I considered to be serious, although I never consulted with anybody as to what it could have been. Every time I went to the bathroom, I would hemorrhage. This happened for several months, and, although I prayed for myself, the condition persisted.
Prayer led me to the conclusion that I had the wrong thought with respect to a colleague at work. I wasn't thinking correctly about her. Then I came to understand that she and I originated from the same Principle, or God, which does not have a dual creation, both perfect and imperfect, but only one, which is sinless and harmonious. Therefore, there couldn't be anything wrong in a creation that was already filled with perfection.
