Change in thought heals acute pain
About 15 years ago, I was under tremendous pressure at work, and started to experience panic attacks. I was working for an international development bank in the Philippines, and was balancing my own job as senior external relations officer with the duties of two other officers of the bank.
I consulted a doctor, and for the next six months took the tranquilizers he prescribed. Then, having become increasingly dissatisfied with this regimen, I decided to discard the pills, but I found that I was addicted to them.
After three more difficult months, my early training in Christian Science came to the fore, and I decided to call a Christian Science practitioner in the United States to help me both shake the addiction and get free of the anxiety disorder and panic attacks.
