Bible promises of stability
I Happen To Prefer rocky shores to sandy beaches. I feel reassured by the stability represented by rocks that are beaten by high seas yet stand tall and unmoved.
That's the kind of stability that's attributed to God in the book of Deuteronomy in the Bible: "He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he" (32:4). There's security for you.
Take another passage that comes readily to mind: "I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee" (Isa. 41:13). What a promise!
