I have noted, with respectful interest, some differing thoughts on publishing articles not specifically about Christian Science. I personally find these not just inspiring to myself, but useful and easy to share. I find myself running to the Christian Science Reading Room for extra copies. For instance, the January 6 issue contained a piece about the Brick Project, which I will share with a Zimbabwean teacher friend; one on a northwestern sacred music festival will be sent to the founder of the Seattle Peace Chorus; and J. Thomas Black's powerful article on praying at a time of war preparation will go to a friend readying for deployment.

I send the entire Sentinel, trusting that the truths in the healings and focused metaphysical articles will make their own way, blessing those who receive these balanced, widereaching periodicals. I feel there is room within each publication for speaking to readers both with or without previous familiarity with Christian Science.
