Beauty—more than skin–deep
Some years ago, I faced an appalling, irritating skin condition that was marked by facial eruptions. I say faced because that is exactly where this problem was—right out in front for the entire world to see.
Throughout my childhood and young adult life, I was often complimented because of my appearance. But I never really thought too much about my looks until I believed they were in jeopardy because of this unsightly skin problem.
To make matters even worse, in my position as a receptionist, I had to face every customer who came through the door. I felt certain everyone who looked at me was repulsed.
