The words on the cover of the Sentinel, "Standing up to abusive behavior," (December 16) and the artwork are brilliant. Thank you all, editors and writers, for being so on the ball with your articles. I read the issue through immediately, and then had to go and give it away to a friend in need.

I have just finished reading the article by Kim Shippey in the January 6 Sentinel, " 'Almost beautiful!' " It caught my attention because I had sung John Rutter's "Requiem" with my community college concert choir in Carnegie Hall in April 2000. It was a unique and inspiring experience.
