NEW PRESIDENT OF THE MOTHER CHURCH

Yvonne Caché von Fettweis has stepped down from her service as President of The Mother Church. Her one-year term began in June 2002 at the Church's Annual Meeting. Yvonne's resignation, for personal and family reasons, was honored as requested on January 1, 2003. Yvonne served with distinction for many years as Church Historian. The experience and knowledge that she brought to the office of President were invaluable during the opening months of operation for The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity.

Honor R. Hill, of Dallas, Texas, has been elected to complete the remaining months of the 2002-2003 term of President. Honor is widely known to Church members and the public as a speaker on spirituality and healing. She has spoken at medical conferences, bookstores, churches, and many other venues, and in several countries. Honor began her healing practice as a Christian Science practitioner in 1986, and also has served as Committee on Publication for British Columbia, Canada, and as a Trustee of The Christian Science Publishing Society.

We welcome Honor to her new post, and we offer our deepest thanks to Yvonne for her many years of service as Historian and her continuing support of the Church's healing mission.
