Thank you for the wonderful Sentinels that you produce each week. I read each one from cover to cover. I especially enjoyed the September 2 issue. I have been wanting to do something to help children. After reading this Sentinel, I decided to turn to God to find what I could do to help children in my community.
Shortly after beginning to pray for direction, I got an urge to look for volunteering opportunities in education. I found a Web site for my community's after-school program, which works toward keeping kids off the streets and helping them with their schoolwork and other activities. I immediately signed up and am sure that God will direct me to the best place where I can be of service to the children in my community.
