A book transforms a life
One day a friend came to see me, asking if I could read a book and write a résumé about it. His neighbor had given him Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy to help him through a difficult situation (he had lost his wife, and his son had become very sick). But the man did not believe that Science and Health could help him and did not want to read it. However, he had to give the book back and wanted to be able to answer questions the owner could ask about it. That's the reason why he wanted me to write a résumé.
Thus I saw Science and Health and heard about its author for the first time. I started reading at 3:00 p.m. and couldn't put the book down. I read till 2:00 a.m. I found the book very interesting, and the first thing I noticed was that I was not a bit tired after reading for such a long time. However, I decided to sleep.
When I woke up the next morning, I saw that scales of my skin had fallen off during the night. And it was at this point that I realized that I had been instantaneously healed of a skin disease I had suffered from for decades, since the age of 12. A short time later that day, I recognized that I was also healed of hemorrhoids.
