My father was never affectionate or even friendly toward me. It seemed he didn't care about me. In fact, he'd always shown preference for my youngest brother. He would argue with me to the point where we couldn't agree on anything. All my efforts to be close and to get along with him ended up with my getting more frustrated and discouraged.
Then, one day, I stopped talking to him.
