"GOD WILL PULL US OVER"
Just when you think that all your child hears when you talk about God is "blah, blah," something like this happens ....
One morning I was driving my three-year-old son, Max, to preschool. We were on the five-lane 101 Freeway in Los Angeles during peak traffic when suddenly my car lost power. On the dashboard panel, the "check engine" light came on. My first thought was, "Oh, no! Today I'll be the cause of 'major delays on the 101.'" I immediately put on my hazard lights.
"Why did you push the button, Mommy?" Max asked, having learned that it was only to be pressed in emergencies. I anxiously replied that there was something wrong with the car, and that I was letting the other cars know that I needed to pull over.
